ABOUT TANYA
Tanya has performed across the country in musical theatre, Shakespeare, light opera, and concerts. When she began to teach, it changed her life, expanding her own understanding of singing technique, style and performance. The sheer joy of expressing herself through song, dance, and comedy propelled a life overflowing. Her desire to share this joy led naturally to helping others grow in their own unique expression and confidence. Tanya takes everything she so effortlessly does on stage and pours it into her teaching. Her career took a new path as venues wanted her to perform and give coaching seminars. Teaching became a perfect fit when her son arrived. She was able to manage family with shorter performance commitments and accomplish recording projects along the way.

Tanya has taught voice and musical theatre technique at NYU’s Conservatory for Musical Theatre (CAP21), Perry Mansfield School of the Arts, Swallow Hill and The Academy of the Arts. She has her own studio where she teaches group and private voice lessons both in person and online, nationally and internationally. Her popularity in the classroom has made its way into the recording studio as a vocal technician and musical director for recording projects and local high school musicals. She has also appeared in numerous commercials, voice-overs and has narrated for Talking Book Publishers, Inc.
